Do you want to remove the shortcut arrows from the desktop icons. A simple registry editing can done this!
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Start registry editor by "regedit" command & press enter
2. Explore the following registry entry :
In Win XP HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> lnkfile
In Win 7 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> Access.Shortcut.DataAccessPage.1
3. There you will find a key named IsShortcut . just delete it and restart your computer. DONE
